Roy Slicker
CEO
Roy Slicker is CEO of Pegasus Disk Technologies. Roy is an
experienced leader, as well as an innovator in establishing
successful startup companies. He has already established and
maintained a firm business foundation for Pegasus and the
company is continuing to grow.
Prior to Pegasus, Roy was CEO and co-founder of Optical Storage
Solutions (OSS). Before OSS, Roy worked at Computime Computer
Services and was Director of Sales and Marketing. Here is
where Roy cut his teeth in storage. He helped to establish
a pilot program involving the storage and retention of nuclear
badge information for the Diablo Canyon Nuclear power plant.
Roy has worked as a computer systems programmer, an operations
director for a leading bank and participated in several successful
startups as an advisor and consultant. His knowledge of archive
storage and compliance spans 25 years. An expert in the design
and development of high-performance enterprise storage &
archiving, processing and workflow imaging systems for the
financial, healthcare and defense industries, Roy has held
key technology management positions at a number of industry
associations and standards committees such as, AIIM, XB-311,
ECMA, ISO and OSTA. He has been a driving roll in marketing
and sales and national accounts management at both Pegasus
and OSS. Roy has also been called upon as an expert witness
in court cases involving the validity of information stored
on various computer media.
Brad Baker
CTO
Brad Baker's roll as CTO of Pegasus Disk Technologies is to
drive product development and engineering at Pegasus. Brad
is an experienced engineer and co-founded Pegasus in 1988.
Prior to Pegasus, Brad co-founded Optical Storage Solutions
(OSS) with Roy Slicker, and prior to that, Brad was a senior
software designer at the Advanced Research Center at Ashton-Tate,
developing data base systems. Brad cut his teeth with Computime
Computer Services, developing file system software in the
then emerging archive market. His expertise in storage software
development has allowed him to sit on a number of storage
associations and committees, such as: XB-311, ECMA standards
for optical storage, ISO, he chaired the UDF development committee
at the Optical Storage Technology Association (OSTA), and
Co-chaired the file interchange committee at OSTA as well.
Brad has more than 19 years of file system and archive storage
software development experience. Brad has also co-authored
two books; "Intelligent Offices" and "Multi-media
and Imaging Data Bases".
Anthony
Hall
Director, Business Development
Anthony has been with Pegasus Disk Technologies since 1998
and has worked in the Computer Industry for 12 yrs. Since
joining Pegasus, Anthony has helped to develop new partner
relationships and has been instrumental in the success of
the software maintenance program. Anthony is responsible for
the management of our ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Partners
who bundle the Pegasus storage management software with their
applications that require an archival storage component, as
well as the worldwide Distribution and Reseller channel. His
primary focus is on the management of the sales department
and the development of new ISV accounts by traveling to industry
and vertical market trade shows, presenting Pegasus to prospective
partners that have a need of integrating a storage management
solution with their application. Before joining Pegasus, Anthony
has held Sales Management positions with Altima Systems, Inc.,
Turtle Beach Systems, Everex Inc. and MiTAC Industrial Corp.
Brenda Alviso
Manager of Operations
Brenda Alviso began her career with Pegasus in 1991 as an
Administrative Assistant, and has worked in the computer software
industry for over 20 years. During her years of employment
with Pegasus, Brenda has gained extensive experience and knowledge
in her areas of expertise and plays an integral part in the
day-to-day operations of the company. She is currently responsible
for the Finance and Accounting functions of the company, as
well as overseeing all areas of HR, Production, and Facilities.
