Hewlett Packard (AA968A) mixed media library (UDO & M.O.)

The mail-slot mechanism behavior has changed for this HP library. This is a device/firmware level change in this library.

The following are the loading characteristics:

-      Issue the Mount command using the InveStore console option.

-      When prompted by InveStore, insert the media into the mail-slot gently, until the media stops. The edged of the media cartridge extends out from the edge of the mail-slot at this point.

-      The library will take the media partially into the mail-slot, move it partially back out, and then take it all the way in.

-      The media is then moved to an available drive for the mount operation.
