InveStore Enterprise

 

At the top level of the management console is a folder icon labeled InveStore Enterprise within which are found all of the folders and icons that provide access to storage management functions available to the system administrator.

Right mouse click on the folder to reveal the first set of options for managing InveStore servers on the network -- your Enterprise.

 

·      Mount Volume Set- Mount a Volume Set from any InveStore server on the network:

You will specify the specific server and library from which to execute the mount in.

 

Note: An operator must be present at the library used to manually insert the media into the mail-slot of the device when prompted.

 

·      Unmount Volume Set- Unmount from any InveStore server on the network. Selecting this opens the following screen:

You will select the specific Server, Volume Set, and Library to execute the Unmount.

 

Note: An operator must be present at the library used to manually remove the media from the mail-slot of the device when prompted.
